Arian launched her professional wrestling career after participating as a participant in WWE Diva Search and Tough Enough (2011). Ariana's ring debut was made on 9th July 2011, under the name Cameron Lynn. In her first match, Ariana competed with wrestlers Audrey Marie Caylee Turner Kaitlyn Aksana for winning the Divas title. She took part in her first SmackDown episode on February 13, 2013. Since then, she has appeared on SmackDown Main Events and at different WWE events. Total Divas joined her after she lost in a tag-team match of 7 on 7, against True Divas, in September 2013. In the game, she was removed by Mendes. In February of 2014 she took home her first major win at the Elimination Chamber Episode where she defeated AJ Lee to become Divas Champion. In the same episode, Ariana fought Lee in a rematch, but fell to Lee. Ariana later took to Lee at Lee's Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational which Lee also won. In July of 2014, she was with Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes as well as Summer Rae against Nikki Bella in a six-on-one handicap match but only showed up for the purpose of slapping Naomi as well as Nikki. After the show, during the Battleground's pre-show she got the chance to face Naomi. The match was a success. Ariana beat Naomi. The rivalry between them was formed as a result.
